Dr Ranoj Pegu made a courtesy visit to Assam Guv

ABKK Kamrupa, Guwahati 7th July:- Dr Ranoj Pegu, Assam Minister Dept of Education and Welfare Plain Tribes etc had the privilege of calling on the Governor of Assam, Shri Laxman Acharya and sought his guidance on the future of higher education in the state.

As the Hon’ble Chancellor of all the State Universities of Assam, Guv LP Acharya shared valuable insights and provided important directions for strengthening our higher education ecosystem. Education Dept Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu has stated that, “We also discussed the proposed two-day conference of all State Universities and Autonomous Colleges, which will be addressed by the Governor”.

During the meeting, the Governor highlighted the need to address deficiencies in infrastructure and faculty across our universities and stressed the importance of taking urgent corrective measures. Minister Pegu furthermore expected that, Assam Governor’s guidance will serve as a valuable roadmap as we work towards improving the quality, accessibility, and excellence of higher education in Assam.
